Ok I bought a Geforce 2 TI (supposedly on friday) its manufacturer is Hightech(generic) and the claim on the website was that it had 250core 400mhz memory(2x200) but the card pictured is not the card I purchased, it is a geforce2 PRO the memory spec is also 6.4ns which sucks so I am taking it back today but I need another card what is my best pursuit?

Can you afford a geforce 3 ti200? Those are not too bad. Also the geforce 2 mx400 is a pretty good card. Try looking on www.pricewatch.com because they have a huge database with some places that have really low prices for pretty good products.

*trying to resist from slapping u for teh mx* Dude, MX blows- GF 2 GTS or GF2 Pro- it u want, get an Ultra. Hmm, GF2 Ti maybe right gfor u as well.

NOS and a Ferrari can be fun!

i might be wrong but i thought the ultra was faster than the TI

That be true, but the Ultra isn't a good deal (even for people like me who went GF2 Pro-> GF2Ultra-> GF3 -> Quadro DCC).

Of the regular GeForce2 cards, Guilemot makes a version with 4.5ns memory that goes for around $130.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

You are correct! G2 Ultra has better overall performance compaired to the G2 Ti but not faster than G3 Ti 200.

Well I dunno if it is the fastest but the Gainward Geforce 2 Ti500 is a pretty decent buy in my opinion. Apart from its sexy looks (Personal opinion - No seriously that red PCB, cooler and RAM Sinks really does it for me)

Its got 4ns memory and has two modes:
1. 250/200 (400) MHz
2. "Extreme" 270/250 (500) MHz

And it appears to perform pretty well in benchmarks. And with the bonus of Video in and out too :)

Heres one of the few reviews I have seen for the card :
