I've got to drive a projector in another room and use a "local" flat panel to monitor the same signal. Are the DVI and VGA ports on any of the GF3 cards simultaniously active? I know the GF-ultra 2 is NOT. I don't want to go through any 2x1 splitters, and my PB software specs GF rather than Radeon...

I'm pretty sure it sends the video signal out of either one connection or the other. Plug and play probably detects which is connected.

a lot of gc have a DVI output
and with a VGA adaptator you can connect your monitor

but not both

I may have what your asking for wrong here, but I use the gf2mx to run two monitors right now. it can also switch to one monitor and tv out. for the second monitor I got a belkin adapter for the dvi port. the setup allows the same screen to be diplayed on both displays or a splitscreen. I think you were looking for the simult. right?
my card is made by visiontek.
