Need KILLER Direct-X Cards for CREED tour system

We;re building a 4 CPU rack for SUPER HI-DEF, multi screen projection, for the CREED world tour, kicking off Jan 17th. I'm using the very cool WATCHOUT sw from Dataton. It's kind of like real time After Effects: lots of huge, moving, 32 bit stills, many layers, transparency, plus multiple animation codec movies, and mpeg2. No 3/d, textures/etc. The SW makers recommended GF2ultra, but that's now old news. I'd like the 8500, w/it's dual ramdecks, so I can monitor each computer backstage, plus output to projectors. but will it have the bandwidth and D-X 8.1 performance of the GF3? Which performance "spec" should I be comparing to select cards?
THANKS, GREG

You want it finished WHEN?

Your job depends on the quality of this setup correct?

I would recommend you don't introduce variables into the equation.

R8500 is the right choice. Its fully DX8.1 compared to the GF3 only being DX8. Multimedia is ATi strength if your not using it for 3d i see. Only ATi has the best mpeg2 playback in the market.

Nice Nvidia and ATi users get a Cookie.... Yummy

Since its creed, you should call pearl jams tour manager and ask, since creed gets all their best stuff from pearl jam anyways.
