I purchased a Visiontek Geforce 3 card online, but what
I received was not a Visiontek card. In fact I don't know
who's card I have! There is no manufacturer name on the
card that I can find, and I've looked all over the net
to find a match with no luck. If anyone can help I would
appreciate it.

Here's a link to a url where you can look at both the
front and the back of the card.

Looks like a GF3 reference card from Nvidia, who also happens to be produced by VisionTech. So I think you do have a VisionTech card but not a retail nor OEM version. I could be wrong, in any case if it works good then I wouldn't worry to much about it.

Yep, generic NVidia GF3. HSF doesn't resemble anything like the main companies. Hey, if it works, why not.

If you can find the FCC ID number on the card somewhere (I can't see it, might not have one), you can look it up on the FCC's website. It'll tell you who owns that ID number, and in effect who the manufacturer is.

Thanks CPL, I'll try that.

It realllllly looks like an Asus card to me, Asus V8200 Pure in fact. Primarily because the card comes with GOLD and modified heatsinks, which is a symbol for Asus's video card.

I could be wrong, but it really looks Asus to me

I know. The best match I've seen is the ASUS also. But
the heat sink is a little different, and the power for
the fan is not in the same location on both. I know, they
could have made minor changes like this between my board
and what you see in adds and online, but I'm not convinced
yet. Also the model you specified has only the monitor connection.
My card has S-video and DVI connections also also.

It's definitely not an Asus or Visiontek. (I looked at pics from Newegg.)

I'd have to say it's a reference card. Where'd you get it from?

I also think it's reference, the only company name on the board is NVidia afterall.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground  .

I purchased it online from Cyberpower Inc. cyberpowersystem.com
I'm going to e-mail them the pics, and ask them what the
THEY think they sent me. :)

If it is a reference card then it is a VisionTech built card. Since VisionTech did all of the GF3 reference cards I've been told.

Yah, but even the Visiontek reference boards that I've
seen online look completely different than the board I
received. They look just like the retail version.
