a b U Graphics card

Hi everybody!

I have some problems with my new ASUS V7700 TI Deluxe. I have an AMD Athlon 900 MHz on an ABIT KT7A board. Now the problem is, when I start the PC after it has been out for more than 10 min the BIOS doesn't recognize the Graphics Card and gives out a Error Code. When I perform a reset or switch the PC off and on again immediatly after that, the BIOS recognizes the Graphics Board without problems.

Can anybody help me solve this problem? I already tried to increse the voltage level to 3.6 Volts, but that doesn'T seem to help.

Thx

Try if updating your BIOS work. Also check if your video card seated properly in his slot.
And how many Watt is your powersupply?

The card is properly inserted and my powersupply is 300 watts, and my computer needed only 150 - 200 with my old graphics card. I#ll try the bios update but I don't think it helps cause the card works perfectly in my old PII 400.

Thanks anyway

There could be a malfunction in your mobo's BIOS which causes the problem.
Also look at <A HREF="http://www.viahardware.com" target="_new">http://www.viahardware.com&lt;/A> they have a special FAQ about the Abit KT7.
