My XP Pro gets stuck booting. In "normal"mode it displays the mmoving bar
but never gets beyond it. In "Safe mode with command line" it gets to the
point until it displays
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(2)partition(1)\WINDOWS\System32\DRIVERS\agp440.sys and
then gets stuck. Doe sit mean it gets stuck on ago449.sys? Or the
driver/event that would come after it? How can I determine what I need to do
and how can I fix it?
Thanks,
Caveman

That is the video, so I would guess you have some problem with the video card. See if you can re-seat the card in it's slot.
There is a phenomena that causes the card to 'creep' out of the slot due to heating and cooling.

It boots fine on a different (identical setup) multiboot instalation on the
same system. BTW, repair of the system wih CD gets nowhere, on a reboot the
re-installation system complains it cannot find the installation I am trying
to "upgrade". Yeach!
