Gateway P4 Nvidia drivers not updated

Gateway has not updated its OEM vidio drivers for the Nvidia Geforce 2 ultra card I got in the Pentium 4 PC I purchased in Jan of 2001. The Nvidia website has had several new versions of drivers come out for M.S. ME but there is a warning to get OEM drivers directly from Gateway. Has anyone tried using the Nvidia drivers with the OEM vidio card? Is there a good chance I can download the Nvidia drivers and get them to work with my gateway vidio card?

You can use nvidia drivers no problem.

Nvidia drivers from the Nvidia website with the Nvidia Geforce ?. Course they'll work. Just that Gateway offer them as well.
I presume you have a Gateway computer. Gateway will want you to use their website - increases the hits they get makes them look good. The firm I work for provides the drives for its machines on their website we always reffer our customers to that instead of manufacturers website when possible.
