Hello,
I am using XP Home SP2.

I am trying to Add A Network Place via the wizard. The network place is
on a WebDav server.

When I try to login to a web folder on Apache server using digest
authentication, the login window changes my username to
hostname\username after I enter the password and click OK. As a result I
am unable to login to this folder. I have also seen this same feature
when logging into Samba.

Is there a solution to this problem or do I have to use other types of
software to gain access?

Thanks,
Ivan

Same here with XP Pro SP2 with both Apache mod_dav and Samba. No prob
with Win2K Pro to save servers.
