ATI radeon 8500 and Empire Earth...

hi everyone, im new here. i got a enw radeon 8500 for christmas!!

anyway, i was having problems with EE and the card, i got the newest drivers for both...

then magically it worked, i played it for a few hours, exited, and did other things, then i went back to it and it did the same thing as it did before, it froze on the gold bordered loadnig screen...

i tried it like 3 times then it kept freezing so i gave up, i went on to other games/internet and i went back and magically it worked again...

im really confused, ive played this game for a little bit and i love it, anything left to do/try?

ohh sorry, i meant to post that, im running win 98 SE..

my specs...
Athlon 1.4
512 DDR RAM
RAdeon 8500

if you need anything else, just post back

just for sh*ts and giggles try taking out a dimm. thats 2 256 meggers or just one 512'er?

try it with 256 in there and see what happens.

i have 2 256...

would that help any though? ill go ahead and try it, im desperate, thx, ill post back if it dont work...
