Where in the USA can a good quality GeForce3 Ti200 64 MB DDR be buyed for a reasonable price?
I prefer a card without TV-in/out, but if there aren't any cards without that I can live with it. And I prefer a card which can be overclocked very good.
Any suggestions?

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground  .

I'd say you're exagerating a bit now?
The GF3 has yet to mature for a new chip to come out!
And where did you hear about that? I am sure the next Nvidia chip will most likely be a GF3 Ultra. Now THAT is gonna be strong!

No way!
An Ultra edition is one that is completly boosted! That is nothing to what an Ultra woulda done! Compare a GF2 GTS to a GF2 Ultra and we'll talk!

Sorry Eden, Im afraid youve been misinformed on this one. The Ti series takes the place of Nvidia's normal 6-month boost on their cards, making the Ti 500 the equivalent of the "ultra" in the series. Besides, the GF3's cant be boosted much more than they already are without a huge (and I mean huge) price increase, making it a sure market bust.

eh, i'll procrastinate later...

Oh, and to answer your question svol, newegg.com has some really good prices on almost all GeForce3 cards. I'm not saying theyre the only good place, but they are the biggest, most reliable one that has good prices. You can also check pricewatch.com for some of the lowest on the internet.

Thanks.
If the GeForce 4 really comes out in a couple of months, with AGP 8x support, I think I wait till then, and also buy a new mobo with AGP 8x, a new CPU and some DDR333 or higher memory  .

agh, more spending, I'm getting sick and tired of spending hundreds of dollars on computer hardware every few months! I'm happy with my Radeon 8500 and 1.33 Athlon, thank you very much!

Ok the GTS V Ultra is not a good comparison, as the Geforce 3 Ti500 isn't like an orninary GTS ! The comparison you mean would be like comparing a Geforce 3 with a G3 Ti500 ! That is the same as a GTS with Ultra more or less.

Or:
Geforce 2 Ultra V Geforce Ti500
And the Ti won ! Yes Gainwards geforce 2 Ti500 Out performs the Geforce 2 Ultra !

I have not heard from any reliable sources of what nVidia has in store for us next :/ but I personally doubt that its going to be an "Ultra" Although it may well be...

You're right. I'm also happy with my 1.4 GHz Tbird, but I'm not very happy with my GeForce 2 MX. I think I will buy some new hardware after about 6 months from now, then I have the videocard for more then a year and my mobo, CPU, mem. for almost a year.
