One thing to think about if you do go for the faster system (and all of us would aggree that you should do the upgrade:)  Make sure that you get a new powersupply and that it fits in your case. AMD prosessors need more power and cooling that your average (or above average for that matter) Pentium II. I highly suggest that if you have 1 HD, a CD/DVD ROM drive, and a CD Burner, that you get a 350-400 Watt Powersupply from Antec, Sparkle, or other brand named retailer. (NO GENERIC) This way, you should have no problems when playing games, or running other programs.

Also, make sure that you have one case fan in the front, and one in the back. This will help your Prossessor stay cool.

Remember to formate your HD and start afreash with a clean machine when doing any major upgrade and make sure that you will not need any old ISA devices as most new MB do not support them.

If it works for you then don't fix it.
