Howdy. I'm looking for a simple card to provide me with the best VHS output of the computer's screen. Basically, I'm running NetMeeting and want to record the session. I'm not doing any gaming or anything, and the machine is only being used for NetMeeting. Also, tryin to keep it cheap! Any help would be mighty appreciated. Happy New Year!

An older Radeon LE TVO, or Radeon VIVO, will usually do a fairly good job on a TV, using adjustments included for the card. The LE-TVO has all the output features of the VIVO, but at about half the price (and 32MB instead of 64MB, at a slower clock rate). Since you're not gaming, it would be a good card, but getting harder to find.
If you cant' find one of these, even the old Xpert@Play 2000 has good TV-Out. I'm also finding Radeon VE's with TV-Out for around $41 on Pricewatch, and though these stink for gaming they are great TV-Out cards.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
