gf3 slowdown

hi i wonder if any of u guys can help me! i have an elsa 920 gf3 card. when i run the 3dmark2000 benchmark i get over 11000 (double wot i got on my gf2mx). but the games i play such as max payne and operation flashpoint run alot jerkier and with alot more slowdown than they did with my gf2. these games both use d3dt&l so is there anything i can do to hopefully speed up my gf3. iam tearing my hair out because it performs so well in the benchmarks but not on any decent games.help!

Was the Gf2 and Gf3 on the same set up?

they r both on the same setup and iam using win 98. any ideas??????????????

Let me guess, you're using detonator 23.11?

As Codfish started to say if your using the 23.11's with A VIA chipset your very likely to experience a lot of problems. So if you are using them STOP and go back to Nvidia and get the 21.83's.
