I have been searching for hours and can't seem to find any reference to this:
I had a need to uninstall and reinstall my printer driver. I uninstalled
using the uninstall utility that came with my driver software. When I attempt
to reinstall via the manufacturer's website, it stops at 60% and I receive an
error message that there are overlapped I/O processes. The same thing happens
when I download the driver and attempt to install it using Found New
Hardware. I do have two printers, but this has never been a problem before,
and I didn't have any problems when I initially installed this printer.

Can anyone please shed some light?
