Perty indeed. Too bad most people judge speakers based on their sound quality.
Do you know of any reviews on them?
Im in a hunt for new 4.1 speakers and I'd like to know how the 4100 fair.

Yes, I have been thinking about those, as well as the Polk Audio and Boston Acoustics 4.1 speakers (forgot the model name/number of both of them)....but none of them has a headphone jack (am I correct?).
Klipsch 4.1 are too awsome, but too expensive for my poor arse.

Me and a friend both have cars. Theres three of us to be exact. In my car I have four standard factory speakers, 2 kenwood 200w 6x9's and a 10" JBL subwoofer 250w.
Now the other two, one has 4 200w 6x9's, and wiggy5 has four standard speakers and 2 6x9.
Blast mine at full volume it gets a bit of distortion from the standard speakers. They waffle slightly. You can't hear it loudly - but it's ever so slightly there in the bckground. The guy with 4 6x9's sounds sweet as he has no standard speakers (old car didn't have any anyway) hardley any distortion at all.
wiggy5 gets quite a bit of distortion at top volume - sounds a bit like a bad tuning on the radio.
Then you have the stereo (ie sound card). Some sound cards have a wider range of frequencys and can produce these frequencys clearer. Its difficult getting a low frequency sound without making it sound like an elephant farting. Also setting the equilisers up depending on the stereo or sound card depends on the quality of the sound which is sent to the speakers.
