I've got an Compaq Presario 5030 with an integrated ATI Rage LT Pro AGP.
Now I've installed an S3 Trio V2/DX PCI card.
In the limited compaq bios i've choosen "Scan for PCI VGA Cards" and reboots.
In Win 2000 the main card is now the Trio PCI Card, the AGP Card states "Error 10, unit can't start" (in swedish).
No picture on the ATI card.
I've tried to change the only BIOS setting about video, "Scan for VGA PCI card" but no effect.
I've tried to uninstall the ATI card and reinstall it but haven't succeded.
With the Trio card Win 2000 is highly unstable and freezes quickly unless I start Windows in VGA mode, then it works perfect, but alas not the ATI card.
I haven't tried any other OS yet.
Is there anything I could do to make this configuration with two cards work?

Both cards uses IRQ 11, also the memory area 000A0000-000AFFFF and Indata/Outdata 03C0-03DF collides.

I Can't find any jumpers on the TRIO card and in Win 2000 I can't alter any of this, the options for manual settings are greyed out.

What to do???

Desperate
James.
