I have a Gainward GeForce2 Ti450 w/ TV-Out video card. I am using the latest drivers from nVidia (23.11) on WindowsXP Pro.
I am unable to get the monitor to go into power save mode after a specified period of idle status. This problem has persisted as long as I have had this card installed.
I know for sure that my monitor supports the DPMS mode of "off", as both the monitor manuals state it as well as the Gainward ExperTool's probe of the monitor. I can also use the Gainward ExperTool to force the monitor into power save mode, however it will not do this automatically.
Is there some cure for this problem, or is it just a known issue with the latest nVidia drivers?
