Hi, my question is as follows.
I wish to lock the taskbar at the bottom of the screen so that no one else
can move it even if they take the tick off.

Can it be done and if so how?

Thanks

Garry

Garry,

Go here...
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

Read the instructions at the top.
Scroll down to...
128. Task Bar Lock - Task Bar Unlock
Click on Task Bar Lock.

After taskbarlock.reg is merged into the registry, the Taskbar will be
locked and cannot be moved. In the right click menu, Lock the Taskbar is
grayed out and cannot be changed.

I tried it to see what it would do.

Is this what you're looking for?

Hi Wes,

Yes it has worked, now the kids can't change the taskbar on the computer and
forget to put it back.

Thanks
