mipmap detail level??

What should this be set at? it defaults at best image quality, but i tried it at high performance and seemed to get a pretty good increase in 3dmark2001 and in my frames.
what do most people have this set at? if i set it to high performance how much of a drop in image quality is there?

I guess it´s a matter of taste, I have it on max image quality.

Performance : "Fuzzy" textures.
Quality : crisp textures.

If the games runs slow, then decrease quality levels.
