Nvidia is now shipping the Nforce 440/420 with out the o/b graphics, they say it boosts up the bandwidth by as much as two(!) times the original stat.

would this mean better memory?
they say it now uses the bandwidth as it is, what about OCing? would that force it to use the now 1/2 empty band?

By the time mobo's based on this are out, the next graphics offerings from nVidia and ATI should be in the market. Now should I get one of those or just get a current card after the price drop... decisions, decisions...

There is also a press release at <A HREF="http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=IO_20020107_9578" target="_new">nvidia</A>, obviously!

Nice, but I'll wait and see before jumping on the nForce bandwagon like so many people did the last time around

still, is it posible to use more band width? now that there is allot of it available?

they stated that the MX400chip onboard the nForce is X8 bus, are there any benches of those chips onboard the nForce?

Thats hard to say. One thing for sure, bandwidth won't be constricted for the audio and pci even if large amounts of AGP memory is used. That would be cool. Whether the CPU will have gains solely on this seems unlikely. But over all, things may work in a more "comfortable" level.
