How do you do a video bios update? The same way you do a cpu bios update? Is this a good idea? There's a new bios update for my card but I don't think I am having any problems.

The card maker that offers the BIOS update should offer instructions on how to update the cards BIOS. You can usually update a video cards BIOS by running it right from within Windows.
Even Newer mother boards now offer live BIOS updates which start right from Windows and downloads, verifies compartability and installs it.
My ASUS mother board offers this feature and I have used it twice, it's a great convienance.

I would check to see what the BIOS update changes are, and if they don't enhance your system in some way then I wouldn't mess with it.
