Hi all. I read (some time ago, somewhere else) about a problem with WDM and DirectX drivers regarding video in signal problems with Geforce3 cards.

Specifically, I installed an Asus 8200 deluxe card in a new Win2K system, and all went well. I then upgraded DirectX (to 8.1) and WDM (to 2.4 I think) and Media Player (to 7.1). Now when I capture/record video with "Asus DVCR" all the colors are overly saturated and the picture quality sux.

I had read that the AD converter (I want to say ATT) was being overdriven. I also remember reading about some registry tricks to either disable AGC or set it to a reasonable level.

I'd rather not re-install windows/drivers/etc from scratch (too bad its so tough to remove DirectX <sigh>)... any help would be appreciated.
