Help and Support Center Service

A colleage has experienced a trojan named 'Killreg'. The trojan has been
cleaned but there now is a problem with Windows Help and Support (caused by
the Trojan or not, I don't know).
The Help and Support program runs but the Help and Support service is not
running and not present in the Services list.
Does anyone know how to initiate this service please.

and type in: SFC /Scannow. This option forces Windows to scan all protected system
