I have installed windows XP - Service Pack 2 and following services
Telephony & Wireless zero configuration is getting disabled after every
restart, even though the said services is set to automatic startup.

Wireless zero config would set to disabled if you have a 3rd party
application set to configure your wireless connecitons.
