my geforce II sucks

I have an AMD Athlon 900, VIA KT133 mobo + 384 Meg RAM and a GeForce II MX, yet I only get 2125 3d marks (3d marks 2001). This seems very low given the config. I'm using v21.81 of the detonator drivers.

Any suggestions or is this a normal score?

GF2 series doesn't suck- it's the MX series that does!

Especially the MX200, they are the worst performing GeForce2 card.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground .

I think some of you need to learn how to be a bit more subtle, and less abrupt and rude.

You cannot just tell someone...oh there's is nothing wrong with your card, apart from the fact it sucks.

I had a GeForce2MX-400 overclocked to 260MHz/260MHz. It performed about as well as a GeForce2 Pro, but it still sucked. In my opinion, with today's super low pricing, a GeForce2 Ti is the bare minimum for gaming.

As far as I know, the GeForce2 Ultra has been discontinued.

Really? Pity, it was pretty cool, and until Max R4, it raped the Quadro in Max R3 when using the Rivatuner mod.

I have the GeForce2 MX400. I scored 2000 pts with the v21.81 drivers. When I installed the 23.11 drivers I scored 2400. Did you try 23.11 yet?

BTW, I have to agree that the MX versions just plain suck. Guess I got what I payed for...

You're doing about right, that's about what I got with a PIII 933 and an MX. Actually I think it was 2400, but part of my advantage was that at 933 I was using my ram at 133.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
