Hello everyone, I have a question here that I have been trying to find the answer to all day without any success, hopefully someone here could enlighten me. I am currently considering to buy a whole new mb/ram/cpu setup that will be based on a KT266A mobo (Soltek looks nice) but I own a gfx-card that I want to use with the new setup for a few months longer which is a Creative Annihilator pro (1st generation Geforce). While looking through some tests of KT266A mainboards I've noticed the AGP slots actually seem to use 1,5V. So my question is will my gfx-card, that according to the manual runs on 3,3V, work on these new AGP slots or do I have to buy a new gfx-card at the same time as the rest? Thanks a lot for any help you can give me.

AGP 4x is 1.5V
AGP 2x is 3.3V
If the mobo can do AGP 2x you will be fine.

Thanks for the input, now when I've read through the manual of my gfx-card really well it seems like my GF DDR is supposed to work in agp-4x too. But is there agp-4x that only works with 3,3V or is it always 1,5V when running in 4x?

Maybe your card switches to 1.5V when doing AGP 4x, or you first have to change some jumpers to set it for AGP 4x (like my TNT2 had).
You also could check if the board is AGP 2.0 Compliant if so there will be no problems.

Ah finally I found an online manual for the soltek board (just on soltekusa's website for some strange reason) and it says it's AGP v2.0 compliant and works in 1x/2x/4x. Thanks a bunch for the help.
