Truce: The Post to End All Trolls (I hope)

I think we are misinterpreting these so called Intel trolls. Liking Intel is not a bad thing!!! I think we should end the "trolling" once and for all. I apologize to AMDMeltdown, Fugger, and Intel_inside for any thing I've said against them. Anybody with me? If you are then apologize to our former "trolls". Also, AMDMeldown, Fugger, and Intel_inside, if you read this please respond by saying sorry to the other people to and call a truce among all PC users.

While I applaud the effort AMD_MAN, I dont think that apologizing to trolls will make them stop, and all it serves to do is give their crap credibility on the forums, which we do not want.

I say ignore them, dont even acknowledge their existance, and if they bring up a point in a thread without personally insulting anyone, debate it in like fashion. The minute they drop to personal insults, tell them to run along and ignore them. That is the only way to make trolls go away, or stop acting like trolls.

What has happened with this "Trolling" is that people on both sides start mudflinging, swearing at others, and being otherwise rude and annoying.

FOR BOTH SIDES:

If you want to be respected for your oppinion, express it in a calm and rational manner. If you make a claim, try to back it up with proof (articles preferably, not just "Well, that's what I heard" ).

All in all, do respect other's oppinions, and realize that not everyone will agree with you, even if you think your decision is the logical choice. And don't be afraid to give a bit to the other side. Both processors have a lot to offer to a consumer, and both processors have some inhearant flaws/drawbacks. Same with video chips.

All in all, we should all hope that the debate never becomes one sided for any processor. No true competition means that prices will soar, and quality may suffer as well.

let me start by saying that i like intel, i have always had an intel processor whether it be pentium, pentium II, or pentium III. but let me say that i don't love intel and i don't worship it, it's a CPU, not a church. it's not like buying an amd is like buying a japanesse car or anything, intel and amd are probably made in the same place.
i will end by saying that i forgot the point i was really trying to make.
p.s. reading juin's posts makes me agrivated and mad.

I'm not sure what this post is about, maybe because I wasn't in any conflict. But, what I did get out of it, is a reminder that we should respect the other readers. I'm glad to be a part of a group that shares the same interest that I do, and to be able to post a question, answer a few, and further my desire to learn more. As for AMD and Intel, Intel is simply to much money for me to keep up with, if Intel could blow AMD away then I would try Intel. Right now it's to close, and the difference is in price.
