Hi all.
I want to set up some kind of home wireless network. I want to be
able to share files between my desktop (Dell) and laptop (IBM
ThinkPad) and be able to access my cable Internet with the laptop.
I have looked at a few so-called "starter kits" and was wondering if
anyone had any suggestions. I was reading about the LinkSys W11S4PC11
and the Microsoft MN-820.
I have so little knowledge of wireless home networking that it is kind
of scary. Hence my interest in a starter kit.
If anyone has any product recommendations or observations, I would
love to hear them.
Thanks much for your time.

I have been using all Linksys equipment since 2001 and going strong with
no problems.
