I built a new computer and loaded XP Home on it. I have two problems. First, I have noticed that when I exit programs that my icons have been moved around on my desktop. I have never seen this before and am not sure what is going on.

My second problem is that when I imported my contact list for my email I noticed that the names are appearing as first name and then last. I went in and set my contacts to last name and then first but then noticed that was only for new contacts added. How can I make existing contacts show up as last name and then first name in my contacts and address book?

Thank in advance for any help.

If you use a program or a game that changes screen resolution, that's usually what messes those desktop icons. Try Iconoid...it's free, and doesn't have any spyware or ads of any sort.

Since you don't indicate what program you're using, I'm not sure what setting you'd need to change. Look through the menus and see if there's a preferences item, settings item, or view context menu to change this display behavior.
