hi, i have read many posts at this forum, but what i dont really understand is the differneces between all the radeon 8500 cards, there is the retail, then an OEM, and the LE. are there big differences, and please dont answer in numbers, because they just dont make any sence for me. Im going gor a flat screen so i trully need the DVI. please explain the main differences and the differences in price, i have seen the cheapest OEM is just under 180 on pricewatch. so is the retail much better?

thanx for your answers

As simple as it gets :
8500 = fastest
8500 OEM = fast
8500LE = not as fast
8500LELE =slowest of the serie

Actualy,some OEM are manifacture by ATI and does not carry the LE mark to them, just plain OEM, and ALL the LE are manifacture by 3rd party.

So you CAN get a 8500 OEM that does not have the LE appelation,they are rare but thay are out there.
