msconfig will not run

Hello,

I would much appreciate a bit of help.

I followed a link in an email.

Norton Internet security will not open when clicked.

Went to their site, which was unable to scan my PC. Followed
instructions at
ttp://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2004021112313539?OpenDocument&ExpandSection=1.5%2C1.4.2%2C1.3%2C1.2%2C1.1&Src=#_Section1.5

Comand failed at start/run/msconfig (and start/run/regedit)

The type of behavior you describe is typical behavior of more than
one virus/worm, the three below being the most common:
