Is there any utility to do temperature monitoring on this card?

I bought the Gainward GF2-Ti/500 golden sample card about a month ago. I'm not a gamer or heavy 3D user, but thought it would be nice to have a good 3D card with video capture especially since I got a great deal on it. After buying an Alpha PAL8045 heatsink and a bunch of Panaflo fans to quiet down my XP1700+ system, the only noise left is the loud, high-pitch whine of the fan on the Ti/500.

I'd like to monitor the temperature if possible, so I can play with slowing down the fan, possibly underclocking and removing it, or removing it and adding a quieter slot fan next to it. Any other suggestions?

Otherwise, I think I'll return it and just get a lowend GF2 without a fan since quiet is more important to me than superior 3D.

You can change the fan with an old quiet small CPU fan from the early Pentiums.

My case has so many fans that it hovers above the ground   .
