un-install problems

i have recently bought a new desctop which was already installed norton
internet security 2005. i already have norton anti-virus 2005 and do not
require the security programme but it is not possible to remove it from my
remove programmes option its not there. how do i remove this internet
security??
also my computer is running very slow @ the moment, can u give me some basic
reasons for this???
