I have a stupid question, but I just don't know the answer.
What's the difference between Geforce Ti and MX?

Well first of all you seem to have been around this place for a while given your rank so may I ask why the hell you don't read the articles first?
No seriously some people come here without a clue of THG articles and go for the Community and ask questions the main article on the THG page would answer!

The purpose of this forum is to help each other. If you don't want to answer my question, please shut your month.

I've owned both, so from experience...
Visiontek GF2 MX400 64Mb is ok if you're not into serious gaming and 3D applications.
Visiontek GF2 TI 64Mb great card for gaming if your processor is below a 1Ghz (anythng above that and the Vid card would be your bottleneck).
Also both of these cards only have hardware support for Directx 7.
Currently I'm running a GF3 TI 200 not a big difference from the GF2 Ti except hardware DX8 support and since my CPU is only a 750 Mhz I can't really push this card to it's limits.
When I had an MX installed 3dmark 2000 score was approx 4500.
Just by installing a GF2 Ti my score jumped to 6700.
Hope that answers your question.

Sorry for bursting, but to be honest sometimes it ticks me off how people never take the time to check out even the most obvious answers which are right on the main screen, considering THG is a help article website not just guides...
