You suddenly start typing with your feet?

nVidia hasn't announced it yet, but I'm sure it'll come. As for modding it...ask flamethrower, he might know more than the rest of us.

As I am sure there will be a release in the future, it hasnt been offically placed on a road map. There is a possibilty that they dont come out with a workstation version of the Geforce 4 if they plan on bringing the Geforce 5 out this year.
You can count on there being a Next generation Quadro card this year though. It would be hard to predict when though. If I where to guess, I would guess mid or late summer if not early fall.

There will be a few new versions of the Quadro 4 as it is called: Quadro 4 200/400 NVS, Quadro 4 500XGL, Quadro 4 550XGL, Quadro 4 700 XGL, Quadro 4 750 XGL, and Quadro 4 900XGL. NVidia is releasing a lot more than teh standard 2 versions of Quadro for each new GPU. Each of those will be the Professional version corresponding to its GeForce version (ie the 900XGL will be same as Ti4600). As for modifying it- the 27.xx drivers have yet another annoying portection thing, so that will have to be overcome. Currently, the maker of Rivatuner is busy finding out how to make a R8500 into Fire GL, but once he is done with that, he'll probably start making driver hacks for GF4 as well. If not, I'll keep u guys updated on any hardware hacks that have been found.

Only if you let me see the Umpa Lumpa- Homer Simpson.
