This is my first post and I'm using it to stick up for ati. I've bought ati rather than nvida for a while and i still will. I just hope ati comes up with something quick to combat the geforce4.
I have a ati radeon 64mb vivo right now and I got tyhe new drivers and I can say they do increse performane quite a bit. Examples are: Unreal Tornament (32bit, 1600x1200, high all deatles, 4xFsaa, all fogs on, syncs on, 18 bots ect...) running avg of 50fps on my P41.9
also Castle Wolf (1600x1200, anisotrophic filtering(128), 4xfsaa, highest level of detail and lighting running about 35-40fps.

the Radeon I used was overclocked to 205 core and memory speed (Hay, if you video card runs 32bit 1600x1200 faster than it dose 32bit 800x600 that can't be bad)

More about : ati nvida

Wow! Those numbers are great for a regular Radeon!

AMD technology + Intel technology = Intel/AMD Pentathlon IV; the ULTIMATE PC processor

yea all I did is overclock it and turn all the features up. I do have a fan and heatsink also. What puzzles me is how it sometimes runs faster on a higher setting then a lower one. Oh well-I'm happy with what I've got.
