i just bumped to inno3d hompage and found geforce 256 32 MB
SDRAM version. which one is faster ? geforce2 mx 400 or geforce 256 with this sdram version ? i found that they are in the same price range (different vendor off course), and somehow i can't find review about this inno geforce 256.
any help appreciated.

The GeForce2MX400 will likely be faster. The SDRAM version of the original GeForce is slow in comparison to the DDR version.

The GeForce 256 is only slightly slower than the original GeForce2 MX. However I'd be surprised if you found one that was cheaper than a GeForce2 MX.

Buy the Visiontek Xtasy 5632, Geforce2 GTS-V, instead for $49. It's a lower clocked version of the Geforce2 GTS but it easily overclocks up to the standard version. It's great bargain.

You could get those cards for about $50, why not spend $75 for a Geforce 2 Ti 64mb. Check out pricewatch.com
