I built my kid a 300Mhz PII a couple of years ago using a Tyan Tahoe 2 MB which only has PCI slots. It's beginning to show its age in the area of graphics but I'd like to extend its life. It only has an old ATI All-in-Wonder Pro with 8MB of onboard memory and I'm considering upgrading it to an ATI Radeon 128 All-in-Wonder with 16-32MB of memory. Would this give the system the best 3D graphics performance for a PCI slot or should I instead go with the nVidia GeForce MX for PCI? If I go with the latter, I'll obviously lose the benefits of a built-in TV tuner. I don't suppose that nVidia has their own version of the "All-in-Wonder" do they?

Thanks!

IMO there is no such thing as a good PCI graphics card, simply because PCI performance is so bad. I have owned the Radeon PCI, which was not noticably better than the TNT PCI. PCI is only 1/8 the bandwidth of modern AGP.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
