yes, there have been quadro drivers for geforce boards made by really smart and determined Russians for a little while, now, (since the geforce 256 and geforce2 mx and gts pro.) nvidia designs all the boards the same way to save manufacturing costs (only one assembly line for two products = less overhead.) except there's one little connection somewhere on the board (I forget where) that id's the card as either a geforce or a quadro. you used to have to bust out the old soddering iron and change the connection to a quadro, but now you can just hack the drivers and tell them to read that little connection differently. obviously, I'm simplifying and don't quite understand the specifics, but that's the basic idea. now, apparently, they don't quite work identically for the geforce4. but, if you want to know where I get my info, go here: <A HREF="http://www.guru3d.com/rivatuner/softquadro/" target="_new"> guru3d's softquadro page </A>
