I had a qucik question for you AMD_MAN, seeing as you seem to be the formost expert on ATI I was wondering just how many driver releases there have been since the 7500's and the 8500's reached the store shelve's.

Thanks for your time.

hehe, I haven't seen rcf around in a while.

Anyway, let me attempt to count the number of drivers that were out:

For Win2K/XP, there have been three drivers that have been released by ATI on their website:

3276
3286
6025

For Win9X/Me:
7189
7191
7206
9013

Also, there have been equal numbers of ATI leaks for Win9X/win2K/WinXP. I'll list the Win2K/WinXP leaked versions:

6011
6015 (posted by Microsoft on Windows Update)
6018
6032

These are the "unoffical" ATI drivers.

There are however several third-party ATI drivers made by individuals and by third party licensed companies. I think there have been 3 or 4 of those but I haven't been keeping up on third-party drivers. However, due to the unified nature of the drivers, they will work equally well on a "Made by ATI" product.
