Normally in a week interval, my computer will tank out where I would have to dump it. Ramtest checks out and I have no bad sectors on my hard drive. I refuse to accept that this barton 2500 is at fault since I have it at 215 clock. I got the vcore at 1.75 right now which should be more than enough. My northbridge run pretty cool at 32 celsius. Pretty much, my norton subscription is the first to go every time then 2 days later a dump is suddenly required. Would like to say a virus is at fault but all scans came negative.

At this point it could be a problem with my mobo or my psu. Im using a 420wt psu wich should be enough. Could an invalid serial key be the cause?

I really doubt a serial key -

Have you tried scanning your RAM? Download Memtest 86 to check; I could maybe see a bad ram stick causing such a crash.

That is wat I would figure. Already did the memtest 86 and Sanda gives my rig it approval too. I juts jump the CPU voltage a little and will see wat happend in about a week. Just a bit odd that norton is the first to go when this happens

what version of norton......
I have XP pro and Norton Internet Security 2003.....every once in a while norton cant load the subscription status and the system needs a reboot or crashes. Alot of times the internet wont work either. For the time being I ctrl-alt-del and close the csapp.exe file which is the access subscription program for norton. Temp. fix, I'm hoping that 2004 version has a fix.

What version of norton do u use????
