They should mail out periodic investor information updates.

they did ... but no where in there does it say anything about a rv250 ... or r300 ...

pretty much all they talk about is performance of current ... and expectations .. not actually future stuff :(

But I got the report right here with me .... if someone else out there can pick a page and prove that I miss read the thing :)

I know that ATI is going to be releasing a 128MB Radeon 8500 and Radeon 8500LE. Along with a new driver, the R8500LE should match the GF4Ti4200 in performance while the R8500 will match the Ti4400. Also, they will be releasing the RV250 which will supposedly run at 350MHz/350MHz (that's 700MHz RAM effectively). This card should match to exceed the Ti4600. As it will be based on the R200 core without any major revisions, it should be released with pretty decent drivers and performance. Later this year, ATI is supposedly going to release the R300 which will compete with nVidia's next generation cards with complete DX9 support.

btw, the only reason why I know anything about those two products is because someone mentioned them in a post ... I then took those two "names" if that's what they indeed are ... and looked them up on Google :)

Many links, can't remember them offhand but most of them are here on the Graphics Forum.

My advise to you is to keep a close ear to info coming from Cebit 2002 in Hanover Germany (March 12-15) where Ati showcases the rv250 and r8500xt and new info about the r300. Another option is to hang around the forums at www.rage3d.com in the r8500 discussion areas and watch out for a guy named David (screen name is david too).

$4.25 thats a good deal. If you want to see how the stocks doing go to www.nasdaq.com and enter "atyt" as the symbol. Right now there down. It peaked in January.

I use quote.yahoo.com ... or quote.ragingbull.com to check my stocks.

I know ... should have sold them in Jan, and then bought them back up about now :\

I own about 500 stocks in ATi looks good from what im seeing. Look at a P4 chipset coming. Also the Radeon 8800 is looking and the long term the R300 will be completed in Fall and will about before X-Mas for the holiday season. Also the Work of the R400 should start this summer.

THGC, saving 1 pc user from buying a GeForce4 MX at a time.
