It depends on the game. The MX400 has a little more hope for newer/future games, but the VooDoo5 will stomp it in older Glide games.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

Wait I'm sorry did you say 370 for the voodoo 5. Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that the core came clocked at 166, and was synched with the memory. Now were talking about a 200% increase in both the memory and core clock speeds if what I have said is correct. This sounds a little high.

QIII, the VooDoo5 might win, since it's an Open GL game. It's hard to keep track of the old and the new sometimes.

Oh ok well if it's 185 than that would be a belivable clock speed. But about the original post I belive that a MX400 vs a V5 that the MX400 would come out on top. Espesialy if your overcloking it. As I said in the last post both the core and the memory on the V5 are syched so you can't just overclock one of them, where as you can on the MX400. This helps for cards like the original MX where when you overcloked it pushing the core to it's max resulted in very little gain in framerates where overclocking it's memory shows supstansinal gains in FPS.
