I am in need of a dual capable monitor with one digital one analog and have settled on either the 8500 or 7500. My question is: Is there expected to be a significant price drop in either of these boards when: a)GF4 non-MX is released or b)128mb version of the 8500 is released?

There will difinatly be a drop in price when the r8500 128mb is released. Heck wait a year and the r8500 64mb will be down to $75.
But no time is like the present so get it after the price drop.

Radeon 8500LE is your best bet right now. Hercules released a R8500 LE for dirt cheap.

I Love playing on my GameCube or PC cuz there both ATi powered...

It is. It can be had in Canada for $230USD or less than $150USD.
