For some reason, i cannot install video drivers. Everytime i try to do so, i
get a message while they are installing, saying "Windows could not load the
installer for display. Contact your hardware vendor for assistance." How do i
fix this?

Contact the manufacturer of your video card? What type of card is it?

With Nvidia sometimes you have to uninstall the old driver first before
installing a new one. In add/remove programs uninstall any Nvidia drivers
there. In the device manager make sure your display is set to Standard PCI
VGA or something generic. Install the latest chipset drivers for your
motherboard. Install the latest Nvidia drivers. Let us know if this doesn't
work.
