<A HREF="http://www.reactorcritical.com" target="_new">http://www.reactorcritical.com&lt;/A> The article here talks about price reductions for the RETAIL 64 mb r8500 prices such as $169 at enpc.com (due to the immenient release of the 128mb version). With prices this low and ATI finally producing FAST STABLE BUG FREE DRIVERS there really is no reason to buy a gf 4 mx. You all may start the bad talking and say ATI is crap drivers suck blah blah blah Nvidia rocks blah blah blah I am used to the baseless arguments by now.

One more thing imagine how much cheaper the Radeon le 64 mb will and the radeon le 128 mb costs only $199 another reason not buy gf 4 mx (actually a gf 2 mx in disguise).

It all depend on how soon Nvidia gf4 4200 will be available! it is the only one model imo that is both performance and price compat with the 8500.

Suposedly, the GF4 ti4200 is suposed to retail for about $199, although that was simply a guestimate. It also depends on how far they strip it down.

Should be interesting to see what happens next month.

I think the Radeon 8500 is too battle the GF4 MX at these low prices. Cuz ATi is really going to hurt Nvidia cash cow i think with the Low price R8500 cards.

Nvidia = Screwed at price/proformace now.

try to find a gf3 ti500 for less than $200...or even the bread and butter gf3 for less than $200....i doubt you will (and refurbished, used, defective, does not count...it has to be new and not off ebay...)
