anyone care to explain to me about the difference of radeon 7500 and 8500 ? thanks

Radeon 7500 is based off the Orginal Radeon w/ no pixel shaders. Its has a T&L engine its clocked at 290core/230(460)ddr-sdram. Its competes against the GF2 Ti *faster* and the GF3 Ti200 *slower*. Its a midrange card.

Radeon 8500 is a New Core. It featuess both vertex and pixel shaders. It competes with the GF3 Ti500 *Both on Par in speed*. Its clocked at 275 core / 275(550) ddr-sdram. The Radeon 8500 its a highend card

Radeon 7500 is base on the 1 radeon but with high clock speed

Radeon 8500 base on R200
More pixel pipeline Faster memories Hyper-Z 2 (memory manager) Direct X8 full support also it the most advance Pixel shader.

Go for Radeon 8500 OEM great preformance a lot feature also a way better price that Nvidia.
