Where can I get my hands on this video card for my Inspiron 8100. I currently have the GeForce2Go, and after finally seeing a reveiw on the ATI, I want to upgrade (especially after seeing how easy it is to do it).

Any help in locating a vendor that sells this card would be appriciated.

I recommend against it unless you know a lot about laptops. Opening it wrecks the warrany, like the post said, and there might be a chance that it won't be compatible. Besides they don't sell it and you'll be lucky if you find one anywhere.

My computer is slower than molasses.

Already cracked the case open, and removed my old video card, and then put it all back together. So looks like my warranty is already gone. :)  For those of you that are interested, there are no break away tabs, or labels that you have to go through to remove the keyboard either. It's a fairly simple procedure.

All I'm looking for is a place where I can buy the card.

For anyone that is interested: This card can be purchased from Dell for $169 ($14 for overnight shipping, $10 for 2nd Day shipping), and after speaking with the woman in the Parts department, Dell will even help you install the card over the phone. Best news I got that day : My warranty will still be valid. :o )
