What do you know about Geoforce4 MX?

Went to a computer store today, asked for a good value graphic card. They answered "Geoforce4 MX" and showed me a shiny new box that they just got to the store.

What about it? Is it any good? How does it compare to Geoforce 3TI for example? It's hardly mentioned anywhere on the Internet.

Anything that says Radeon 8500 or GeForce 3 Ti200, Ti, Ti500 can beat the crap out it. I would just aviod anything that says GF4 MX. Also the GeForce 4 MX is fully lacking vertex and pixel shaders.

It's basically a GeForce2 MX in disguise with a couple of bells and whistles, so no, it's not a real value card. The GF3Ti200 or Radeon 8500 will give you the best bang for the buck right now.
