Ever since last night when I left my computer to finish installing the Starcraft II installer off of Blizzard's website my speakers have been crackling. Here are the things I tried

Taking out battery, run on AC power: Failed
Restart Computer: Failed
Update Drivers: Failed
Uninstall, then update drivers: Failed
Open up laptop then check if the wires to the speakers are worn out: Failed

I'm all out of ideas and I'd love to play Starcraft II with sound - its almost like a luxury :p

I'm really thinking it is because of the Starcraft II installer because it only happened after I installed it.

I actually fixed the issue. It was the internal sound card was blown or damaged. It was just a coincidence that the game installed that day.
